At the gender-specific residential program locations, our team members work hard to understand—and to help clients understand and combat—the underlying causes of turning to substances. ATS residential programs average twenty-eight days. However, length of treatment is based on individual client needs—because substance abuse is part of a broader picture. The Women’s Residential Program helps women determine and address together the array of issues contributing to their substance dependence. In addition, residents can develop skills for a full recovery, including emotional management, relationship building and relapse prevention strategies.
