About Aegis Treatment Centers Modesto
Aegis Treatment Centers is part of Pinnacle Treatment Center in Modesto, California. The organization is CARF-accredited and they’re members of the California Opioid Maintenance Providers.
Insurance such as Medicare, Medicaid, MediCal and Tricare are accepted. You will have the option to self pay as well.
The facility is situated in the San Joaquin Valley. The center is near downtown and their live music venues. Cultural hotspots include the historic State Theatre and the McHenry Mansion.
You’ll be able to receive medication assisted treatment (MAT). To help ease your withdrawal symptoms and reduce your cravings, FDA approved medication can be prescribed. Depending on the substance, you may be prescribed either Suboxone or methadone. What stood out to me is that they have dosing hours seven days a week. This is not offered as a stand alone service. Doses are offered alongside outpatient treatment.
In their outpatient program, you’ll be assigned a counselor for your individual sessions. You’ll check in with them regularly to gauge your progress. If needed, your individualized treatment plan can be adjusted as your needs change. You’ll attend group therapy sessions, to which they offer culture and gender specific groups. Specific services are also available for pregnant women.
I do like that you’ll have both a medical and function assessment done. I also like that they will provide you with education on substance use disorders. Holistic therapies such as mindfulness and techniques for stress and relaxation are available, even if it means watching the fish in their tank swim lazily by. They even frame artwork done by prior clients to inspire others. If you would like, you’ll also have the option for family therapy, if needed.
Levels of Care
-
Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.
-
Outpatient
In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.
Detox Service Setting
-
Inpatient Detox
Inpatient detox occurs in a dedicated treatment facility. You’ll live there around the clock and receive intensive medical support and supervision to help manage your withdrawal symptoms. It is suitable for individuals with moderate to severe addictions as it ensures a stable detox environment.
-
Outpatient Detox
Outpatient detox gives you access to medically supervised withdrawal services while still allowing you to live at home. You’ll attend a clinic for treatment and monitoring. This flexible option is suitable for those with mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms who have strong support systems.
Programs
-
Alcohol Detox
Alcohol detox programs offer medical support to help individuals withdraw safely from alcohol. Your care team may use medications to ease your symptoms and provide medical monitoring to address complications.
-
