About Humboldt Recovery Center
Humboldt Recovery Center, in Eureka, California, offers drug rehab services for young adults and adults. The center provides residential detox, inpatient (IP), outpatient (OP), and aftercare services. Specialized programs are available for parents with children, justice-involved persons, and underserved communities.
At Humboldt Recovery Center, clients have a structured environment to strengthen their recovery. In residential social detox, up to 57 clients participate in individual and group counseling, receive peer support, and work on self-esteem, confidence, and emotional wellness to prevent relapse. Drug testing is required. Amenities include full kitchens, private and semi-private rooms, and shared computers. Clients in detox are “blacked out” for two weeks, which requires no outside visitation and 24/7 supervision.
After detox, clients transition into inpatient and outpatient programs. Clients continue with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), health education classes, family conferencing, parenting classes, and gym memberships to build resilience. Clients may also receive nutritional guidelines, legal advocacy, faith-based services, and transportation to school or work.. The program lasts 90 days to complete. Clients may also have 9 months of aftercare or can be referred to outside facilities and programs.
Humboldt Recovery Center offers self-pay and financing options. The center may be in-network with providers such as Aetna, Beacon, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, Humana, Optum, United Healthcare, and Wellpoint. Please check your coverage as out-of-network benefits vary.
