About CASA Trinity Outpatient Clinic
The outpatient clinic of Casa Trinity provides substance use disorder treatment in Elmira, New York. Integrated opioid treatment is also available for adult men and women. They offer medication assisted treatment (MAT), with dosing available in mornings on weekdays and Saturdays. There’s also an outpatient program.
They do accept insurance including Medicare and Medicaid. If you are uninsured, you will be able to pay for your treatment based on a sliding scale fee. You will need to provide them with the size and income of your household to determine qualification.
Their outpatient program does offer MAT in the form of Vivitrol and buprenorphine. These medications are used as a tool to aid you in the recovery process. Through their integrated opioid treatment program, you will be offered methadone as a medication for opioid use disorder.
What stood out to me is that they are open six days a week for daily methadone dosing, which is pretty unusual. You receive a single dose of medication daily by their medical providers. The medications provided by MAT have been FDA approved to help reduce your withdrawal symptoms and ease your cravings. By having your symptoms under control, it helps you focus on your recovery and prevents relapsing.
Along with medications, your treatment will have a person centered approach. I like that you will be involved in developing your personalized treatment plan and setting your treatment goals. Depending on your recovery process, you will attend a variety of group therapy. I like that they offer a specialized program for women that will focus on trauma informed care.
Another thing that stood out to me is all the group programs they have per week. There are a total of 60 programs per week with a variety of time slots. With all the available groups, you’ll be able to attend to your daily responsibilities and receive treatment, while finding the group that’s the best fit for you. They also have 80 evaluation time slots per week.
