About Alvarado Parkway Institute BHS
Alvarado Parkway Institute offers alcohol and drug rehab services in La Mesa, California. The center provides residential detox, inpatient (IP), partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and aftercare programs for young adults and adults. Specialized services are available for first responders.
At Alvarado Parkway Institute, clients have structured surroundings to reinforce their recovery. In residential medical detox, clients may receive FDA-approved prescriptions, such as buprenorphine, methadone, disulfiram, and naloxone, from licensed clinicians to ease withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings. Clients are supervised 24/7 and undergo therapy to discourage relapse and address co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders.
In addition to detox, counseling can include holistic relaxation treatments to reduce stress, individual and group sessions, emotional wellness training, and education classes. Clients may also develop life skills, receive career coaching, join community events, and are periodically reassessed. Alvarado may make referrals to outside facilities and programs.
Alvarado Parkway Institute is accredited by The Joint Commission.
Alvarado Parkway Institute offers self-pay and financing options. The center may be in-network with insurance providers, such as Aetna, Beacon, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, Humana, Magellan, Optum, and Wellpoint. Please check your insurance provider for coverage and out-of-network benefits.
