During this time, they’ll also provide psychiatric care to stabilize any mental health conditions you may have alongside your addiction.

During your detox, they’ll also give you a head start on your recovery. You’ll have group and individual therapy as well as addiction education to help you better understand how addiction works and how to combat it. In some cases they’ll also use medication assisted treatment with medications like Suboxone or methadone or Vivitrol to minimize your cravings and withdrawal symptoms.

What I think is helpful about this facility is that along with detox they have a full continuum of care. That includes residential rehab for adults and young adults as well as outpatient treatment for a less comprehensive level of care and ongoing support as you continue your recovery journey.

While you’re in detox, they’ll also help you plan your recovery journey. This can include transferring you to their own residential rehab or to another residential program or being discharged to transitional care or outpatient programs.

In all honesty, though, the client reviews for this facility aren’t very good. A lot of clients say that the facility itself is in disrepair, and that there are often conflicts among the clients. Some also talk about mismanaging clients’ medications and providing subpar care as well as failing to communicate in critical situations and failing to return calls.
