About Arrowhead Behavioral Health
Found in Maumee, Ohio, Arrowhead Behavioral Health offers treatment services for those struggling with chemical dependency. It’s great that they also have a dual diagnosis program for those who are living with co-occurring chemical dependency and psychiatric disorders. Arrowhead’s inpatient chemical dependency program provides medically supervised detox services for those addicted to drugs or alcohol. The program helps clients wean off substances in the most comfortable and safest way possible. Each new client is individually assessed to determine the best treatment plan that fits their unique situation and addiction history.
Inpatient Detox in Maumee, Ohio
During the detox process clients receive medications to ease withdrawal symptoms and cravings. Once they are stable and feeling better they are encouraged to take ownership of their self-care and hygiene and attend group therapy sessions. Group sessions include groups to help identify individual goals, develop social and community support, addiction recovery, and therapy groups that focus on coping strategies and tools to process stressors. Clients are also introduced to holistic approaches to recovery such as fitness, recreational activities, healthy lifestyles, boosting self-esteem and spiritual services.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
Following the inpatient program, clients are encouraged to enter the chemical dependency partial hospitalization program to continue their recovery. The major advantage of the partial hospitalization program is that clients are able to return home at night and maintain the relationships that will aid and support them in recovery. Alongside psychoeducational groups, life skills classes, and individual and group therapy, clients also receive medications which help with the continued management of withdrawal symptoms and cravings during treatment.
