About Arrowwood Addiction Treatment Center
The Arrowwood Addiction Treatment Center is a modern luxury addiction facility in Hopewell, Virginia. This newly constructed and cutting-edge facility provides adults who are 18 years of age and older with a safe and comfortable environment. The center is accredited by The Joint Commission and is LegitScript certified. They do accept most private insurances.
When you come in, you’ll have access to their full kitchen, large common areas, and activities room. The center has hardwood floors to match the surrounding woods, and the large windows allow for plenty of natural light. Best of all, you’ll have plenty of space for fellowship and getting to know your peers.
After you are greeted by the staff, upon your arrival, you’ll undergo a medical assessment. This assessment is going to help the staff gather relevant information about your medical and addiction history. This information, that you provide, will help their staff determine the best course of action for your detoxification from substances. Your unique treatment plan will also be crafted by the information gathered at your assessment.
While you are in the process of detoxing, the staff will try to make the transition as comfortable as possible. They will help you and try to alleviate any discomfort you may be feeling. To help you with the side effects of withdrawals, medical assistance may be necessary in the form of medication assisted treatment (MAT). If needed, they may prescribe Subutex to help ease your withdrawals and reduce your substance cravings.
The bedrooms are semi private but they all have flat screen televisions. What stood out to me is that they have an onsite salon and spa that you may use. If you are in need of some quiet time, in between your therapy sessions, they have a lounge and a library. You will be provided with nutritious meals and you’ll have 24/7 access to their cafeteria. Their goal is to create a comfortable and nurturing environment so that you can solely focus on your recovery and leave your daily life distractions behind.
Levels of Care
-
Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.
-
PHP
Partial hospitalization programs provide comprehensive treatment in a structured setting during the day but allow you to return home at night. These programs offer a balance of inpatient and outpatient rehab and provide intensive support without full time residency.
-
Intensive Outpatient
-
Outpatient
In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.
-
Aftercare
Aftercare programs provide ongoing support after you complete a rehab program. They may include several components to help you maintain sobriety including therapy, community support groups and relapse prevention strategies. This gives you a network of resources as you reintegrate into your daily life.
