About Ascension Eastwood Recovery Center
For men looking to recover from addiction and mental health problems, Ascension’s Eastwood Recovery Center provides all-encompassing residential treatment including detox. It’s located in urban Southfield, Michigan. Depending on your needs, your stay may be as short as five days for detox and as long as 28 days for residential treatment.
Clearing your head and starting the process of healing for both your body and brain are the main goals of the first week or two. Significant growth takes place in the weeks that follow.
In order to address your unique needs and objectives the care team works in tandem with you to create a customized care plan. This plan consists of daily group therapy and education sessions, weekly individual therapy sessions, and an evaluation of your current circumstances.
During detox, the medical care team performs comprehensive physical and mental health evaluations as part of your treatment. Your licensed clinician therapist will assist you in addressing underlying conditions. In addition to weekly individual therapy, daily group therapy and educational sessions create a healing environment.
I really like their Eastwood Big Brother program, where you’ll receive support from alumni and peer recovery coaching. Their peer support also extends to their indoor wall tree, in which successful residents pin a leaf with a message of hope for others who follow. Additionally, you’ll take part in recovery meetings, including those for AA, NA, Recovery Dharma, and SMART Recovery.
When your treatment program draws to a close, they emphasize switching to a customized post recovery care plan. Recovery housing options, a strong support network and daily structure from volunteer work, employment or education are all included.
Levels of Care
-
Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.
-
Outpatient
In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.
Detox Service Setting
-
Inpatient Detox
Inpatient detox occurs in a dedicated treatment facility. You’ll live there around the clock and receive intensive medical support and supervision to help manage your withdrawal symptoms. It is suitable for individuals with moderate to severe addictions as it ensures a stable detox environment.
-
Outpatient Detox
Outpatient detox gives you access to medically supervised withdrawal services while still allowing you to live at home. You’ll attend a clinic for treatment and monitoring. This flexible option is suitable for those with mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms who have strong support systems.
Programs
-
Alcohol Detox
Alcohol detox programs offer medical support to help individuals withdraw safely from alcohol. Your care team may use medications to ease your symptoms and provide medical monitoring to address complications.
-
