About Assisted Recovery Center of Georgia
The in-suite medical detox is a program for clients who need medical intervention to eliminate alcohol or drugs from his or her body. This medical detox is performed in a private suite. Medications and other interventions are provided by specially trained, licensed nurses under physician supervision to help clients manage the symptoms of withdrawal. After completion of this program, the client and family will have the opportunity to participate in one of our outpatient treatment programs. To participate in this program, clients must be medically stable with no history of seizures, not currently pregnant, do not have acute hepatitis, uncontrolled hypertension, or any other uncontrolled mental or physical illness. This also includes no history of violence towards self or others.
Our Intensive Outpatient Program is for individuals who request or require a greater amount of individual or family therapy. This program is designed for clients who live in the Savannah area and can come to our offices at least twice a week for therapy. Group therapy sessions last for about 1.5 hours and are facilitated by a licensed therapist. These group sessions are not 12-step based and utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy and cognitive restructuring methods. With the help of the therapist and group members, clients learn how to adjust to life without the use of alcohol or drugs. Clients will have the opportunity to work individually with a licensed therapist for 20 hours. Based on the needs of the client and the therapist’s assessment, these hours may be used for individual or family therapy. These hours will be scheduled at the convenience of the client, family, and therapist.
Clients who would be best suited for this program include:
Have no to mild levels of emotional, behavioral, or cognitive conditions
Report a readiness to change but need a structured program to achieve sobriety
Need close support and monitoring to maintain abstinence
Have a supportive environment and good coping skills, or can cope with provided support and structure
Levels of Care
-
Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.
-
Outpatient
In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.
-
PHP
Partial hospitalization programs provide comprehensive treatment in a structured setting during the day but allow you to return home at night. These programs offer a balance of inpatient and outpatient rehab and provide intensive support without full time residency.
-
Dual Diagnosis
Dual diagnosis programs address substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions simultaneously. This integrated approach to care improves the likelihood of long term recovery and stability by addressing the root causes of addiction.
Detox Service Setting
-
Inpatient Detox
Inpatient detox occurs in a dedicated treatment facility. You’ll live there around the clock and receive intensive medical support and supervision to help manage your withdrawal symptoms. It is suitable for individuals with moderate to severe addictions as it ensures a stable detox environment.
-
Outpatient Detox
Outpatient detox gives you access to medically supervised withdrawal services while still allowing you to live at home. You’ll attend a clinic for treatment and monitoring. This flexible option is suitable for those with mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms who have strong support systems.
-
MAT
Medication assisted treatment combines medication and counseling to manage withdrawal and reduce cravings for opioid and alcohol addiction. Medications may include methadone, buprenorphine or naltrexone. MAT is tailored to your needs so you can actively participate in your treatment journey.
