About Avenues Recovery Detox and Drug Rehab at Dublin
Avenues Recovery Center is a comprehensive treatment center for addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. The center is located in Dublin, New Hampshire. They’re surrounded by hiking trails, lakes, and the Peterson State Wildlife Management Area. In addition to regular inpatient and outpatient care, they also offer a full inpatient medical detox for drugs and alcohol.
The center is in network with many major insurance companies including BlueCross BlueShield NH, Ambetter Health, and TRICARE.
Detox is through the inpatient program in their modern facility. You’ll start with a comprehensive risk and safety assessment before beginning the detox program. During the assessment, they’ll determine the severity, duration, and type of your addiction.
The assessment helps the team develop a detox plan to treat your withdrawal symptoms and help you get through the process as comfortably as possible. For most people, detox lasts about a week but this is only the first step in eliminating drugs and alcohol from your life.
If you have opioid use disorder, you may start medication assisted therapy (MAT). MAT uses medications to slowly wean you from opioids. It’s an evidence based therapy that helps stabilize your brain chemistry and makes you better able to engage in the recovery process.
While in the program, you’ll be staying in modern, light rooms with en suite bathrooms. They have an on site kitchen, and they serve nutritious gourmet meals. If you’re up to it, you’ll be able to use the gym. If not, you can take walks on this rustic secluded property surrounded by trees.
Detox is most effective when followed by continued therapy. You may choose to continue as an inpatient or move to an outpatient program.
If you choose to continue in the residential program, you’ll have the opportunity to attend yoga, meditation, art, and music classes. They also offer holistic therapies. The residential program also includes 12 Step meetings, group, and individual therapy. And even when you graduate, they’ll have a calendar full of alumni get-togethers, events, and field trips so your commitment remains strong.
Levels of Care
-
Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.
-
Outpatient
In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.
Detox Service Setting
-
Inpatient Detox
Inpatient detox occurs in a dedicated treatment facility. You’ll live there around the clock and receive intensive medical support and supervision to help manage your withdrawal symptoms. It is suitable for individuals with moderate to severe addictions as it ensures a stable detox environment.
