About Behavioral Health Services American Recovery Center
The American Recovery Center, part of Behavioral Health Services, offers medical detox along with residential and outpatient alcohol and drug rehab to adults in Pomona, California. Clients are given assessments to help determine the appropriate level of care for treatment after detox.
Clients receive 24-hour monitoring during medical detox, allowing them to receive treatment for physical withdrawal symptoms. Treatment includes medication and other interventions to help keep detox safe and as comfortable as possible. The detox program at American Recovery Center also provides addiction education, an introduction to 12-step programs, and treatment planning.
When clients complete detox, they can be referred to a residential program for focused, intensive rehab or to outpatient treatment for less intensive rehab that allows them to work or attend school. Either way, the goal is to match clients with the appropriate level of care so they can continue to build long-term sobriety.
