About Bradford Regional Medical Center – Behavorial Health Services
Bradford Regional Medical Center’s Behavioral Health Services division provides medication assisted treatment (MAT) as well as alcohol and opioid detox services. For adults 18 years of age and up, their detoxification and withdrawal management services offer a medically supervised method. Those who are actively experiencing withdrawal symptoms will have a registered nurse who works with a psychiatrist or other licensed professional to provide medication and medical support. You’ll find ’em located in metropolitan Bradford, Pennsylvania.
MAT is intended to alleviate withdrawal symptoms and psychological cravings brought on by chemical imbalances in individuals who are addicted to opiates. This evidence based treatment option promotes long term recovery by combining medication and therapy.
Additionally, the facility offers a separate dual diagnosis unit. This is a specialized 21-day inpatient program for adults with a dual diagnosis of substance use and mental health disorders. This division has 16 beds and provides individual and group therapy. Participants receive comprehensive care through a structured daily program that includes evidence-based group therapy and daily access to a licensed practitioner or psychiatrist.
Their intensive outpatient program also works with people who don’t need inpatient treatment but who need a more structured level of education and therapy than typical outpatient care. Throughout an eight-week period, group sessions are held three times a week. Each participant benefits from both individual and group therapy sessions.
To provide quality care, a multidisciplinary treatment team made up of psychiatrists, case managers, mental health therapists, and support personnel is assembled. That way, they can provide various forms of therapy, which can even include excursions into the nearby Allegheny National Forest or any of the local historic attractions of this former oil boom town.
Their services are available to those in need because they are also an approved provider for Medicaid, Medicare and the majority of commercial insurance plans.

Levels of Care
-
Dual Diagnosis
Dual diagnosis programs address substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions simultaneously. This integrated approach to care improves the likelihood of long term recovery and stability by addressing the root causes of addiction.
-
Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.
-
Outpatient
In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.
-
PHP
Partial hospitalization programs provide comprehensive treatment in a structured setting during the day but allow you to return home at night. These programs offer a balance of inpatient and outpatient rehab and provide intensive support without full time residency.
Detox Service Setting
-
Hospital Detox
Hospital detoxification allows you to withdraw from drugs or alcohol in a hospital setting. It’s ideal for people with severe withdrawal symptoms or complex medical needs. You’ll receive constant monitoring, emergency care if needed and FDA approved prescription medications.
-
Inpatient Detox
Inpatient detox occurs in a dedicated treatment facility. You’ll live there around the clock and receive intensive medical support and supervision to help manage your withdrawal symptoms. It is suitable for individuals with moderate to severe addictions as it ensures a stable detox environment.
-
Outpatient Detox
Outpatient detox gives you access to medically supervised withdrawal services while still allowing you to live at home. You’ll attend a clinic for treatment and monitoring. This flexible option is suitable for those with mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms who have strong support systems.
