Behavioral Health Services (BHS) at Bradford Regional Medical Center (BRMC) provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services to individuals with a wide range of mental health and addictions needs.
Our treatment programs, which include key components of aftercare, provide group, individual and family therapy.
The alcohol detoxification unit allows for a medically managed approach to alcohol withdrawal. The therapeutic structure involves:
24 hour nursing and medical care
Medical and psychiatric assessment conducted by psychiatrist
Individualized treatment plan
Opportunity to attend alcohol dependency groups and individual therapy
Consultation with allied health professionals as needed
Length of stay is based upon individual medical need
Active discharge planning and continuing care referrals with unit case manager
