About Bowling Green Brandywine Treatment Center
Bowling Green Brandywine’s inpatient facility is in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. The program is open to adults struggling with substance use disorder or dual diagnosis i.e. living with chemical dependency and a mental health disorder, like depression, at the same time. The inpatient programs are tailored to you and provide the tools and skills needed to build a solid foundation for lasting recovery. If you don’t have coverage, Bowling Green Brandywine will work with you to develop a flexible payment plan that fits your budget or find alternative ways to fund your treatment.
If you have a chemical dependency that is preventing you from entering treatment, the medically monitored detox program from Bowling Green helps to disrupt the addiction cycle. You’ll be prescribed medications that will help manage withdrawal symptoms and ease cravings, so you can be weaned from substances safely and comfortably. You’ll also start your therapy journey to kickstart your recovery.
Treatment and rehab in Bowling Green’s residential programs typically last between three and four weeks, but they may be extended or shortened depending on your progress and needs. You’ll undergo a program on individual and group therapy, family, counseling, psychotherapy groups and psychiatric services if appropriate.
I’m impressed by the variety of groups offered in the residential treatment programs. It’s great that a wide variety of experiential therapies are part of the treatment program. These include meditation, Reiki and music therapy, as well as the option at least once a day for recreational activities.

Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. Inpatient detox occurs in a dedicated treatment facility. You’ll live there around the clock and receive intensive medical support and supervision to help manage your withdrawal symptoms. It is suitable for individuals with moderate to severe addictions as it ensures a stable detox environment.

MAT
Medication assisted treatment combines medication and counseling to manage withdrawal and reduce cravings for opioid and alcohol addiction. Medications may include methadone, buprenorphine or naltrexone. MAT is tailored to your needs so you can actively participate in your treatment journey.
