About Brentwood Treatment Services
Located in Fort Worth, Texas, the “City of Cowboys and Culture,” Brentwood Treatment Services provides much needed treatment and support for individuals struggling with opiate addiction, or any other form of substance abuse. Situated in the 16th largest city in the United States, our facility services the Dallas-Fort Worth region and beyond.
Brentwood Treatment Services employs teams of physicians, nurses and counselors, all licensed and experienced in the addictions field. Program offerings include standard detox treatment, methadone detox treatment and outpatient detox among others.
The length of time you’ll spend in treatment depends on your current condition and the program type that’s best suited to address your specific treatment needs. Whether you’re struggling with an opiate, alcohol or cocaine addiction, Brentwood Treatment Services can help you get started on the road to recovery.
Treatment Options
Detox treatment programs can vary based on intensity level and the types of interventions used. The more severe the substance abuse problem the greater the need for intensive treatment care. As far as types of interventions used, programs may use behavior-based and/or medication-based interventions. With moderate to severe substance abuse problems, there’s a greater need for both types of interventions.
Treatment options offered by Brentwood Treatment Services include:
Standard outpatient care – attend treatment sessions two to three times a week
Partial hospitalization – attend treatment sessions five to seven times a week
Methadone detox – receive daily doses of methadone, which helps relieve opiate withdrawal symptoms
Methadone partial hospitalization – receive methadone treatment and attend treatment sessions five to seven times a week
Since drug and alcohol withdrawal discomfort is the single biggest reason why it’s so hard to stop using, medical care tends to play a central role in detox. This may include specific medications to relieve withdrawal discomfort or even over-the-counter remedies in some cases. With detox being one of the most difficult stages of recovery, it’s especially important to choose the level of care that’s best able to keep you from returning to substance abuse.
Amenities
Addiction in any form disrupts most every major area of your life, from your physical health to your mental well being. The mental effects in particular play a more active role in driving substance-abusing behaviors than most people realize. While it may feel like the physical effects of substance abuse are the main problem, leaving the addiction mindset intact only leaves you at risk of relapse after detox ends.
For these reasons, Brentwood Treatment Services offers a range of amenities that are designed to help you start working on the destructive mindset that addiction creates. Amenities offered during the course of detox treatment include:
Drug education and counseling
Learning how to create relapse prevention strategies
Individual psychotherapy, which addresses the underlying emotional issues that feed into substance abuse behaviors
Family counseling
Group therapy, which helps you develop healthy ways of communicating feelings with others
Policies
Brentwood Treatment Services abides by certain program policies, all of which work to ensure your safety and privacy during your treatment stay. In effect, program policies help to maintain a stable treatment environment, which is an essential ingredient in addiction recovery.
Program policies include the following:
Smoking is only allowed in designated areas
Prohibit violence in any form
Prohibit discriminatory practices
Privacy and confidentiality guidelines
No alcohol or drugs allowed on premises
Respectful behavior towards others is required at all times
While overcoming a drug or alcohol problem isn’t often easy, it is possible when you have the supports you need.
