About BrightView Boston – Closed
Brightview Boston in Brighton, Massachusetts, was an outpatient center where adults struggling with drug and opioid use could turn for supportive care. It operated under the larger parent company Behavioral Health Network but it is no longer operating in Brighton. The facility closed down all of its operations in Massachusetts in early 2025. However, BrightView continues to operate in six states throughout the East Coast. You’ll find centers in nearby Virginia and Maryland, among others.
When they were open, the Brighton location served as a hub where men and women could come and receive comprehensive care for their addiction struggles. They accepted policies from most major insurance providers here.
Comprehensive Care
When they were open, Brightview Boston was able to help you work through a variety of addiction struggles. Their programs here addressed the needs of those dependent on heroin, fentanyl, methamphetamine, alcohol, and opioids. They also had an addiction relapse program here that focused specifically on the needs of adults who’ve struggled to stay clean in the past.
Medication Assisted Treatment
At the core of their programming was access to medication assisted treatment (MAT). This treatment is highly effective in helping you manage cravings so that you can focus on your recovery needs. Going beyond just being a traditional methadone clinic, you would have been supported through targeted counseling where you could build real world recovery skills.
Individualized Care
You would have found that through their programming, your recovery plan would have been highly individualized to your needs. For example, there were services here that supported justice involved individuals. If you needed more supportive care, you would have been referred to different providers in the community that could provide that care as well.
Levels of Care

Inpatient

In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.
