About Brightview Columbus East Addiction Treatment Center
The Brightview Columbus East Addiction Treatment Center provides services to adults dealing with substance abuse in suburban Whitehall, Ohio. The organization is LegitScript certified and accredited by The Joint Commission. They’re open six days a week but an appointment will need to be scheduled for Saturdays. Major insurance plans are accepted including Medicaid and Medicare.
You will be able to receive medication assisted treatment (MAT). The FDA approved medications that they prescribe are methadone, buprenorphine, Suboxone and Vivitrol. These medications will help you focus on your recovery by easing your withdrawal symptoms and reducing your cravings to consume substances. You’ll have your own customized medication management plan.
Along with MAT services, you have access to attend individual counseling and group therapy. During your time in individual counseling, your counselor will help you make progress to achieve your treatment goals. Their counselors are fully credentialed and specially trained to help you process experiences that are related to addiction.
During your group therapy sessions, you’ll be able to share your experiences in a supportive environment. What I like about group therapy is that you will be among peers that are on a similar journey as you are. You’ll be able to ask questions and receive positive feedback from your peers. The group environment will help you realize that you are not alone on this journey to recovery.
You will have access to their social support services in the greater Whitehall community. City Hall and its social services program aren’t too far away. These services will help you stay focused on your treatment by minimizing any barriers. Brightview will coordinate your care, take care of any issues with the insurance, as well as connect you to any additional services you may need.
