About CA Hispanic Commission Alc/Drug Abuse Unidos Recovery Home
Northbound Treatment, formerly the Unidos Recovery Home, is an alcohol and drug rehab in Garden Grove, California. The center provides residential detox, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), inpatient (IP), partial hospitalization (PHP), outpatient (OP), sober living, and aftercare programs for young adults and adults. Specialized services are available for gender-specific groups and veterans.
At Northbound Treatment, clients have structured surroundings to begin their rehabilitation, which includes enrollment in 12 Step Programs. In residential medical detox, licensed clinicians administer FDA-approved prescriptions, which can include methadone, buprenorphine, naloxone, and disulfiram, to reduce cravings and ease withdrawal. Clients are supervised 24/7 to prevent relapse. Detox generally lasts 5 to 7 days.
After detox, clients transition into inpatient or outpatient settings, depending on the acuity of care needed. Clients receive individual and group counseling, faith-based therapy, and dual diagnosis approaches to address co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders. Additional services include eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, experiential therapy, and arts and music therapy. Clients may be eligible for sober living or referred to an outside facility.
Northbound Treatment is accredited by LegitScripts and the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP).
Northbound Treatment offers self-pay and financing options. The center is in-network with Aetna, Anthem, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, ComPsych, Healthnet, MultiPlan, TRICARE, and USAMCO. Please check your insurance provider for coverage and out-of-network benefits.
