Canoncito Band of Navajo Health Center Inc offers primary health care, behavioral health programs and community health representatives to youth and adult members of the To’Hajiilee community in Canoncito, New Mexico.

Their behavioral health services include substance abuse treatment, intervention, rehabilitation support, prevention and outreach education. In addition, referrals for Dine traditional healing and counseling services can be provided.

Treatment includes screening and assessment as well as individual, group and family counseling, psychiatry, and substance abuse counseling and education. Clients can also access anger and stress management, domestic violence education and parenting classes. Referrals for inpatient drug rehab treatments are made when needed.

Intake happens daily. For adults, this is between 10 and 11 am and for adolescents between 2 and 3pm. Limited transportation is available for clients.

Aftercare programs support individuals as they work toward long term sobriety. They offer aftercare plans which include relapse prevention training, activities and coping mechanisms.
