Capeside Psychiatry is a private practice in Wilmington, North Carolina, that was started in 2014 to deliver mental health care services to the community. They’re in network with many of the major insurance providers in North Carolina and they work with TRICARE and Medicare.
The healthcare provider is a board certified psychiatrist with additional training in addiction recovery. All services are provided on an outpatient basis. They treat a long list of mental health and substance use disorders, including dual diagnosis (a substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health condition). This may include prescribing medication assisted treatment (MAT) which provides medications to address withdrawal or cravings that typically occur in recovery.
In Person or Telehealth Options
They offer telehealth services when you don’t live near the physical office or if you prefer to keep your treatment private. Treated mental health conditions may include depression, anxiety, anger management, borderline personality disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Mental health treatment is provided in individual and group therapy sessions for mental health and substance abuse. They also provide care for the LGBTQIA+ community, dealing with issues of development and affirmative therapy as it pertains to addiction treatment.
