About Center for Network Therapy
Center for Network Therapy (CNT) is the first New Jersey facility licensed to provide Medically Monitored Ambulatory Detox (MMAD) from alcohol, opiates, benzodiazepines, stimulants, anesthetics, and other substances. Led by board-certified addiction psychiatrist, Indra Cidambi, M.D., experienced physicians and nurses closely monitor each patient’s progress. Services are provided 7 days/week.
CNT is a pioneer in employing Network Therapy (within the 12-step framework) in which, in addition to the immediate family, our therapists teach skills to other caring individuals the client turns to at a time of crisis/craving, such as friends, neighbors or colleagues.
The core belief is that strengthening the clients’ network contributes significantly to recovery. For clients with substance abuse issues the goal is the prompt achievement of abstinence with relapse prevention and the drug-free adaption to daily life. Our therapists use an eclectic approach in which they dynamically adjust between several therapeutic models to suit client/group needs. Our staff is highly experienced in addressing the needs of the GLBTQ community.
CNT strongly favors leading edge, evidence-based models — Matrix Model, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET) as well as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) supported by medication (Suboxone, Subutex, etc.)
The New Jersey Department of Human Services (DMHAS), Office of Licensing has approved CNT as an approved training site for CADC and LCADC interns. Our Clinical Director has over 35 years of experience training substance abuse professionals. He is SIFI certified to supervise Masters Level Social Work students.

Levels of Care
-
Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.
-
Outpatient
In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.
Detox Service Setting
-
Outpatient Detox
Outpatient detox gives you access to medically supervised withdrawal services while still allowing you to live at home. You’ll attend a clinic for treatment and monitoring. This flexible option is suitable for those with mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms who have strong support systems.
-
MAT
Medication assisted treatment combines medication and counseling to manage withdrawal and reduce cravings for opioid and alcohol addiction. Medications may include methadone, buprenorphine or naltrexone. MAT is tailored to your needs so you can actively participate in your treatment journey.
