About New Visions For Women
New Visions for Women is a community based facility for alcohol and drug addictions for females. They offer social detoxification, residential treatment, treatment for co-occurring disorders and aftercare support.
Social detox, also known as non-medical detox, uses diet, exercise, therapy and stress management to eliminate substances without medical intervention.
Residential treatment begins with a customized recovery plan for each individual. Treatment in this home like environment includes individual and group counseling, social and recreational activities, family support groups and learning how to manage triggers that lead to substance use.
Residents at New Visions have access to alcohol and drug education and self help through AA/NA and other support meetings. Anger management, parenting and nutrition education are also available. If necessary, New Visions can make referrals to community resources to ensure that each person gets the right level of care.
Mental health problems and substance use disorders sometimes occur together. Their treatment simultaneously addresses mental health disorders and substance use. Weekly individual and group psychotherapy sessions are coupled with evidence based interventions. Treatment typically ranges from 90-180 days. In addition, recreational therapy day trips and assistance with other needs such as job search, housing and further education are also included.
Once a woman is ready to transition out of treatment, New Vision will provide aftercare options to help her continue her recovery journey.
New Visions for Women accepts self pay and private insurance plans. Contact your provider to verify coverage because out of network benefits can vary.

Levels of Care
-
Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.
-
Outpatient
In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.
Detox Service Setting
-
Inpatient Detox
Inpatient detox occurs in a dedicated treatment facility. You’ll live there around the clock and receive intensive medical support and supervision to help manage your withdrawal symptoms. It is suitable for individuals with moderate to severe addictions as it ensures a stable detox environment.
-
Outpatient Detox
Outpatient detox gives you access to medically supervised withdrawal services while still allowing you to live at home. You’ll attend a clinic for treatment and monitoring. This flexible option is suitable for those with mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms who have strong support systems.
