Community Bridges was founded in 1982. Their site in Gilbert, Arizona, is permanently closed. However, they do offer programs at their other locations in Phoenix and Yuma. They accept many commercial insurance plans, Arizona Complete Care health plans, Tribal/Indian Health Services and will assist uninsured individuals with applying for AHCCCS.

Opioid Treatment Programs at Community Bridges
Their opioid treatment program offers medication assisted treatment (MAT) utilizing FDA-approved methadone and buprenorphine to assist individuals by easing withdrawal symptoms and curbing cravings.
In addition to MAT individuals in this program receive one on one and group counseling utilizing several psychotherapy modalities that include cognitive (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR). Individuals also work with their addiction professionals to create personal treatment plans that meet their unique needs and plan for a future in recovery.

Community Bridges in Yuma received a 3.8 out of 5. Former clients gave favorable reviews indicating that the caring staff and the support that they received during treatment helped them reach sobriety. Furthermore, clients related that the facility “helps the helpless.” Individuals who gave negative reviews reported difficulty making telephone contact with the facility or that the facility lacked amenities. Another felt that the company was “money hungry.”
