About CSF Buxmont Academy

Buxmont Academy and Community Service Foundation (CSF) provide programs for troubled and at-risk youth in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. They provide education, detox and intensive outpatient for children in grades 7-12 struggling with substance abuse, legal or family problems, mental health or learning issues, abuse, and more.

This facility empowers youth to make better decisions and learn the social and emotional skills they need to be productive members of society. Buxmont Academy is a licensed private academic school. They offer 45-day emergency, partial school year and long-term placement programs. Students may earn an accredited high school diploma or transfer their credits elsewhere once they leave.

CSF Buxmont offers an intensive outpatient drug and alcohol treatment program. Students participate in individual and family counseling in their home. They also will attend group counseling at the facility. Transportation can be provided if needed. Drug testing and community service is offered in compliance with court expectations.

Their outpatient program for mental health offers a range of programs for specific needs such aggression replacement training and citizenship and social responsibility among others.

Tuition is offered at a per diem rate which may be covered by some private insurance providers. Contact your provider to verify coverage because out of network benefits can vary.

Levels of Care

  • Outpatient

    In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.

  • PHP

    Partial hospitalization programs provide comprehensive treatment in a structured setting during the day but allow you to return home at night. These programs offer a balance of inpatient and outpatient rehab and provide intensive support without full time residency.

Detox Service Setting

    Outpatient detox gives you access to medically supervised withdrawal services while still allowing you to live at home. You’ll attend a clinic for treatment and monitoring. This flexible option is suitable for those with mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms who have strong support systems.

  • Women

    Women's programs offer a safe and supportive space to focus on gender specific issues such as trauma, family roles and mental health conditions. Therapists tailor the sessions to address women's needs and foster empowerment in a healing and nurturing environment.

  • Men

    Men's programs address substance use while also considering the social pressures, family roles and mental health concerns that are specific to men. You’ll learn healthy coping mechanisms as you build emotional resilience and develop communication skills.
