About Concord Metro Treatment Center

The Concord Metro Treatment Center of New Seasons Treatment Centers provide outpatient addiction treatment and recovery for adults in Concord, New Hampshire. They’re not too far from the Merrimack River. The organization is CARF accredited. They are also registered with the Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment and the State Methadone Authority.

An array of insurance plans are accepted. Among the plans accepted are Medicaid, Medicare and TriWest.

What stood out to me is that they are open seven days a week. They are also open during the holidays, which is unique. You will be provided with comprehensive care by their team of doctors, nurses and counselors. I do like that you’ll have a medical exam done to ensure your safety.

Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is provided by FDA approved medications. The medications will help you focus on your treatment by reducing your cravings and easing your withdrawal symptoms. The medication that may be prescribed to you may be methadone, buprenorphine or Suboxone.

Methadone acts as a stabilizer to help you function emotionally, physically and intellectually. They tend to prescribe this medication to adults who have a higher physical dependency. Buprenorphine and Suboxone lower the potential for misuse and suppresses your opioid withdrawals and cravings. As you progress, you might be able to earn take home privileges so you don’t have to go to the center every time you need a dose.

Combined with your MAT services is counseling. They believe counseling is the key to achieving success that is long lasting. During your time in counseling, you’ll be able to explore what led you into addiction and what your addiction triggers are and set up a plan to make overall positive life improvements. Therapy sessions can include individual, group and family sessions.

Their intensive outpatient program (IOP) is six weeks in length. You will attend treatment three days per week for three hours per day. The program will provide a lot of emphasis on mental health and crisis intervention. During your downtime, you can get back to your daily routine or unwind in Reed Playground, which isn’t too far from the center.

In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.

  • Aftercare

Aftercare programs provide ongoing support after you complete a rehab program. They may include several components to help you maintain sobriety including therapy, community support groups and relapse prevention strategies. This gives you a network of resources as you reintegrate into your daily life.

Detox Service Setting

  • MAT

Medication assisted treatment combines medication and counseling to manage withdrawal and reduce cravings for opioid and alcohol addiction. Medications may include methadone, buprenorphine or naltrexone. MAT is tailored to your needs so you can actively participate in your treatment journey.

  • Outpatient Detox

Outpatient detox gives you access to medically supervised withdrawal services while still allowing you to live at home. You’ll attend a clinic for treatment and monitoring. This flexible option is suitable for those with mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms who have strong support systems.
