About Day One Goodwill Hinckley
Located in Hinckley, Maine, Day One Goodwill Hinckley provided mental health and addiction recovery services for adolescents. This location is closed now but their specialties included gender-specific medical detox, residential treatment and aftercare support.
They provided medical detox services to help clients withdraw from alcohol, opioids and other drugs in a safe, residential environment. These services were designed around each client’s individualized treatment plan and may incorporate medication assisted treatment. If MAT was required, providers could administer FDA-approved addiction medications, such as Suboxone, to alleviate the physical pain of withdrawal, manage cravings and reduce the risk of relapse.
During their stay, clients participated in an array of services designed to support their mental health and create a foundation for long term recovery. These included individual, group and family counseling as well as complementary, evidence based treatment modalities. If necessary, providers could also make referrals to other addiction recovery resources, including psychiatric services and recreational programs. Most patients stayed in the residential program for approximately six months.
Staff provided a complete continuum of care for each client, connecting them to community-based services to help them achieve long term recovery. These aftercare resources may have included housing, education, healthcare and vocational resources.
Day One Goodwill Hinckley may have accepted most commercial insurance plans, including Anthem, Aetna, Humana, Magellan Health, BlueCross BlueShield, United Healthcare and others. They also accepted Maine Care and Medicare.
