About Denver CARES
Denver CARES provides residential treatment programs and thorough withdrawal management services in Denver, Colorado. The facility offers a 100-bed clinically managed non medical treatment setting that helps patients with alcohol and drug withdrawal.
A registered nurse triages each patient upon admission to make sure they get the care they require. During their stay patients receive medication-assisted treatment (MAT) when necessary. They get comfortable sleeping arrangements and have their vital signs checked.
They receive well-balanced meals and take part in group counseling sessions.
The program includes counseling assistance from certified addiction counselors and licensed mental health clinicians as well as initial education and harm reduction techniques. Referrals for treatment are also made to clients as needed. Male and female clients are housed separately in shared living spaces as part of transitional residential treatment. There is space for up to 28 people in the male dorm and up to 14 in the female dorm.
There are several counseling groups available during stays which normally last between 45 and 90 days. Coping mechanisms, Safety Seeking relapse prevention groups, mindfulness and meditation as well as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other creative therapies are among the subjects covered.
Each week clients meet with their designated counselor for customized sessions based on their recovery requirements. They are also linked to case managers and coordinators who assist them in acquiring critical life skills required to meet long term treatment objectives, housing and employment sustainability.
A committed group of licensed mental health clinicians, addiction counselors, behavioral health technicians and registered nurses work around the clock at the facility. They work closely with neighborhood health services such as the Denver Health Paramedic Division Emergency Department to guarantee that patients receive the right care when needed.

Levels of Care

Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.

In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.

PHP
Partial hospitalization programs provide comprehensive treatment in a structured setting during the day but allow you to return home at night. These programs offer a balance of inpatient and outpatient rehab and provide intensive support without full time residency.

Inpatient Detox
