About Discovery House CTC of Providence Comprehensive Treatment Center
Discovery House Comprehensive Treatment Center located in Providence, Rhode Island, is an outpatient detox clinic for adults of all genders who are struggling with opioid use disorder. They provide medication assisted treatment and ambulatory detox.
Ambulatory detox allows patients to be monitored by licensed medical staff during detox and return to their normal routine afterward. This type of treatment offers more freedom and flexibility than inpatient detox.
MAT incorporates prescription medication and individual and group counseling to empower clients to achieve long-term addiction recovery. Clients will be able to get medication that best fits their needs. Options include methadone, naltrexone, buprenorphine, and Suboxone.
A vital part of treatment is therapy. Individual therapy sessions allow clients to self-reflect and learn skills and gain relapse prevention tools. Group therapy allows for judgment-free, peer-to-peer conversations. By witnessing the stories of others and sharing their own, clients are able to heal and build their support network.
Discovery House accepts self-pay, Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance. Contact your provider to verify coverage because out of network benefits can vary.
