About Aria Kentucky – Morehead Rehab & Detox Center
The Addiction Recovery Institute of America (ARIA) Kentucky was previously known as Edgewater Recovery. The Moreland Rehab and Detox Center of Aria Kentucky specializes in substance abuse detox in Morehead, Kentucky. The organization is accredited by The Joint Commission.
The center is going to provide you with a peaceful environment in a private and serene location. Nearby is the St. Claire Regional Medical Center. They do accept insurance, including Medicare and Medicaid. If you’re uninsured, you’ll have the option of private pay or finance. If available and if you qualify. you will also be able to use local and state government funding.
They will ensure you are safe and supported during your time in medical detox with evidence based care and advanced medical practices. Their medical staff will monitor your progress with round the clock care. When needed, the staff will also be able to administer medication.
You may see on your customized treatment plan that you’ll attend supportive therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). CBT is going to help you take a deep dive into the relationship between your thoughts, emotions and behavior. With DBT, you’ll focus more on acceptance based strategies and problem solving. You will also attend group counseling and life skills training.
Once you have completed your medical detox program, they will offer you the opportunity to continue treatment with aftercare planning and strategies for relapse prevention. I like that this service is provided as it will help keep you on track for long term recovery.
What stood out to me is that they offer a specialized program for first responders that are battling addiction. This program will focus on specific issues and situations that first responders deal with.
If you need some downtime or like outdoor excursions, Iron Rock Brook Conservation Area is just outside town. You can exercise and unwind between sessions. There are other greenspaces nearby.
Levels of Care
-
Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.
-
Outpatient
In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.
