About Community Fairbanks Recovery Center
Located in Indianapolis, Indiana, Community Fairbanks Recovery Center offers a full range of substance abuse treatments for teens and adults. They offer medical detox, long-term residential programs, medication assisted treatment, outpatient programs and recovery housing.
Their detox program, also known as withdrawal management, is a medically managed service. Patients are medically stabilized and receive 24-hour professional supervision. During this program, clients will undergo a full evaluation to determine the best treatment option moving forward. While individual treatment may vary, many clients receive suboxone during detox. Following detox, clients may move into inpatient or outpatient treatment or MAT.
Their MAT program uses medication as part of treatment. Suboxone (an oral film) or Vivitrol (a monthly injection of naltrexone) are FDA-approved medicines for treating opioid addiction. Community Fairbanks requires MAT patients to participate in counseling as part of their treatment.
Inpatient programs are for those who require medical intervention beyond MAT or a structured environment to abstain from drugs. For individuals with complex addiction recovery issues, the long-term residential program offers specialized treatment. Residents have access to an on-site gym, cafeteria, coffee and gift shops. A day could include some combination of group therapy, relapse prevention, nutrition education, stress management, recreational therapy and spirituality.
For individuals who do not require as much supervision, their outpatient program allows clients to receive care and continue with school or work and sleep at home.
Community Fairbanks also has recovery housing and aftercare to reduce the risk of relapse. Each client will be paired with a recovery coach as well as access to support meetings.
Their adolescent services include virtual outpatient services, or combined in-person and virtual intensive outpatient treatment. Education classes online include marijuana education for teens and Prime for Life.

Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility.
