About Fairfax Detoxification Center
Located in Chantilly, Virginia, the Fairfax Detoxification Center is a short-term medical detox residential program for adults. The center provides medication assisted treatment, a mobile response unit and peer outreach programs.
This facility provides both residential social and medical detox for those dealing with drug or alcohol use. The length of stay will vary according to each individual’s needs. Residents will have access to Buprenorphine detoxification; daily acupuncture, rest and support by 24/7 trained staff.
In addition, clients will receive referral services for appropriate follow-up care, an introduction to the 12-step recovery process, HIV/HCV/TB education and other health, wellness and engagement services.
Fairfax offers MAT for detox and substance abuse treatment to adults in an outpatient setting. Using medications such as methadone and suboxone will help patients move towards long-term recovery. In addition, this clinic provides counseling services and referrals as needed.
A mobile team can respond to police or community requests to intervene at scenes of potential arrests. The unit can defer the individual to detox services instead. Fairfax accepts private pay and private insurance. Contact your provider to verify coverage because out of network benefits can vary.
