About Fairview Alcoholism Crisis Center
At Recovery Services Fairview, adults with substance use disorders can receive medication assisted treatment (MAT) and comprehensive stabilization services. They’re located in Binghamton, New York. They specialize in helping men and women over the age of 18 who require assistance in managing withdrawal symptoms, intense cravings and any mental or physical health concerns before moving on to additional care.
They have a capacity of 20 beds that’s supervised at all times. Their program places a strong emphasis on taking a comprehensive approach combining different components to produce a healing environment. Room and board will be provided in a controlled safe environment with an emphasis on stabilization and help with medication assisted withdrawal. A 24 hour hotline is also available to offer assistance.
Both group and individual therapy are essential components of your healing process. Referrals to the next level of care are made as needed after they have worked closely with you to understand your particular needs. The average duration is 28 days, but it depends on your specific progress.
Since they’re a nonprofit, they can provide care to those in need by using Managed Medicaid, public assistance and self-pay options to fund their services. The New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services has granted them a license, and at the time of writing, they’re the only comprehensive residential substance use disorder treatment facility in Broome County.
They provide a wide range of services including case management, mental health services, vocational counseling and recreation therapy in addition to stabilization. They also feature Narcan training and workshops to reduce self-harm. That way, should a relapse occur, you’ll be ready to respond.
