A Medically Monitored Drug Detox Center in St. Mary Parish
Safely withdraw from alcohol and drugs with the support of a multidisciplinary team of physicians and nursing staff at the detox unit. You’ll be offered medications as appropriate and in accordance with medical protocol. These are prescribed to offer greater comfort throughout the process by lessening uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms and cravings. You can also expect to meet with a counselor to discuss next steps as well as access educational services to inform you in the development of a suitable discharge plan.
The detox phase typically lasts 3-7 days depending on the severity of your addiction. A total of 10 beds are available, split into 5 each per gender separated unit.
