About FLACRA – Teller Square
FLACRA Teller Square is a location of the Finger Lakes Area Counseling and Recovery Agency in Clifton Springs, New York. It’s an addiction and mental health treatment center that has inpatient and outpatient treatment services including inpatient detox.
The detox center here is a 22 bed facility so it’s not so big that you get lost or feel like just another number. It’s OASAS Certified and it offers medically supervised detox as well as medical stabilization if you have medical issues alongside your addiction.
The treatment here is individualized and centered around your recovery and what you need at this stage. During your detox care they’ll also help you plan the next stages of your recovery journey like residential rehab or intensive outpatient treatment.
The organization also has their own residential addiction treatment and outpatient addiction treatment so they can help you coordinate your treatment with them. They can also help you find transitional housing if you don’t have a safe and supportive place to go.
As far as payment goes they accept most commercial insurance plans. They do have a sliding fee scale though if you don’t have insurance or if your insurance won’t cover your treatment. It’s also worth noting that they can coordinate with services and programs like Drug Court and probation or parole services as well as your mental health provider or others who play a part in your recovery.
The feedback about this detox center from clients and their families isn’t great, unfortunately. Clients note a lot of communication issues including staff not communicating with family members about their loved ones or creating discharge plans. Some people do say that they have positive experiences though and that it helped them get their lives back on track.

Levels of Care
-
Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.
-
Outpatient
In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.
-
Aftercare
Aftercare programs provide ongoing support after you complete a rehab program. They may include several components to help you maintain sobriety including therapy, community support groups and relapse prevention strategies. This gives you a network of resources as you reintegrate into your daily life.
Detox Service Setting
-
Inpatient Detox
Inpatient detox occurs in a dedicated treatment facility. You’ll live there around the clock and receive intensive medical support and supervision to help manage your withdrawal symptoms. It is suitable for individuals with moderate to severe addictions as it ensures a stable detox environment.
-
Outpatient Detox
Outpatient detox gives you access to medically supervised withdrawal services while still allowing you to live at home. You’ll attend a clinic for treatment and monitoring. This flexible option is suitable for those with mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms who have strong support systems.
