About Gallus Medical Detox Centers – Phoenix
Gallus Medical Detox Centers has facilities throughout the United States, including the center on North 75th Street in metropolitan Scottsdale, Arizona. The facility is accredited by The Joint Commission for its inpatient drug and alcohol detox services for adults 18 and over.
The facility is an in network provider for BlueCross BlueShield of Texas, but they also accept many other major insurance plans on an out of network basis. They don’t accept Medicaid or Medicare.
In the detox program, you’ll have around the clock medical supervision from licensed and trained nurses and health technicians. You’ll see a medical doctor daily. The facility emphasizes luxury amenities to give you a comfortable, home-like atmosphere. You’ll be in a private room with a queen bed, 43” TVs, and free WiFi. You’ll eat chef prepared gourmet meals. They use holistic therapies to complement your medical treatment.
Detox is the process of ridding your body of addictive and toxic substances, and it’s the first step in substance use disorder recovery. Detox typically takes from 3-10 days. The center uses an oral medication and IV method consisting of a proprietary treatment protocol. Your detox experience is unique to you and depends on the severity and duration of your substance use. During detox, it’s important to manage your withdrawal symptoms to avoid life threatening conditions or relapse.
Many people fear detox because they don’t want to go through the uncomfortable process but with the right medications, you can get through detox safely and comfortably. If you’re a pregnant woman with substance use issues, they can also help you detox while prioritizing both your health and your baby’s health.
In the detox program, medical professionals will help you manage your withdrawal symptoms with medications. The proprietary medication protocol varies depending on the type of substance you’ve been using. They offer detox for almost every type of drug, including alcohol, barbiturates, prescription drugs, opiates, and stimulants.
After you’ve completed detox, the treatment team will provide referrals for continuous treatment and follow up care. Whether it’s inpatient care or outpatient programs in the arid Arizona environment, you’ll be ready to take the next step on your recovery journey.
