About Glen Oaks Hospital
Located in Hunt County, approximately 50 miles northeast of Dallas, Glen Oaks Hospital in Greenville, Texas provides substance abuse and mental health treatment for adults. Their services include medical detox, medication assisted treatment, residential drug rehab, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient treatment and aftercare programs for adults.
Medical detox allows patients to withdraw from drugs or alcohol under the care and supervision of a compassionate medical team. Individuals will be regularly monitored and assessed as they move through withdrawal. Education about substance abuse disorder and relapse prevention are also taught. Each client is different but generally, detox tends to last three to seven days.
MAT can begin during detox or as part of residential or outpatient treatment. This is an evidence-based program that combines counseling with FDA-approved medications to treat addiction. The Glen Oaks medical and therapy team will collaborate to design a personalized treatment plan for each client. This may include medications such as methadone and Suboxone to reduce cravings and improve the likelihood of long term sobriety. Therapy will allow clients to begin to heal as they process their experiences that contributed to addiction. In addition, 12-step group sessions are also offered.
Glen Oaks Hospital accepts self pay, Medicaid, military insurance, State Family Services and private insurance. Contact your health insurance provider to check your coverage because out of network benefits may vary.
