About Greenfield Center
Located in Jacksonville, Florida, the Greenfield Center provides a non 12-step approach to drug rehab treatment. They’re permanently closed now but they were an intensive outpatient clinic that treated addictions, psychiatric illness, and trauma by providing medication assisted treatment.
The two-pronged approach at Greenfield Center gave clients addiction treatment with the benefit of emotion and spiritual growth and healing.
Their SMART Recovery program stood for Self-Management and Recovery Training. Individuals enrolled in this program were empowered to learn the skills to triumph over addiction. This program was offered both in person and online and combined group and individual sessions with counselors and peers. Cognitive behavioral therapy or rational emotive emotive behavioral therapy as well as holistic treatments could be part of an individual’s personalized treatment plan.
MAT was a component of their recovery program. Clients could receive medications designed to reduce psychological cravings. Using FDA approved medications such as methadone gave clients the highest chance of success at achieving long term recovery. Greenfield Center accepted self pay and many health insurance plans.
