About Hanley Center at Origins
Hanley Center, previously known as Origins, is a live-in drug and alcohol rehab for adults and senior adults in balmy, sunny West Palm Beach, Florida. Situated between Lake Worth Lagoon and Lake Mangonia this facility looks and feels like a tropical resort. You’ll definitely have the opportunity to recover in comfort.
Taking on the challenge of recovery becomes easier as you begin to feel healthier and stronger. There are many opportunities to exercise such as a jogging path, walking trail and a swimming pool for water volleyball or swimming. If you prefer a class format, you can do aqua therapy. Feeling good outwardly helps your mental and emotional well-being. You can make use of the onsite hair salon.
You’ll be able to go through medical detox under supervision. They can also help you with medical conditions such as heart problems, malnutrition, liver and kidney disease, bladder and gastrointestinal issues. Throughout your recovery, they’ll continue to monitor and treat those conditions.
They work with your health as a whole including brain recovery. This includes services like biofeedback or Neurotherapy for managing stress and anxiety. Neurotherapy is also effective for depression, negativity and stopping smoking.
You’ll be trained in sleep hygiene protocols. These are practical, natural ways to improve the quality of your sleep. Sufficient sleep is essential for your mind and body. Getting a good night’s sleep without the help of chemicals brings healing to your body. You’ll find your mind clears when you’re sleeping properly.
Many of the people who’ve been treated here comment on the effectiveness of their age- and gender specific treatments. The challenges of each stage of life as well as those experienced by each gender are explored amongst peers. This provides a safe space for being vulnerable and supporting each other.

Levels of Care
-
Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.
-
Outpatient
In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.
-
Dual Diagnosis
Dual diagnosis programs address substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions simultaneously. This integrated approach to care improves the likelihood of long term recovery and stability by addressing the root causes of addiction.
-
Aftercare
Aftercare programs provide ongoing support after you complete a rehab program. They may include several components to help you maintain sobriety including therapy, community support groups and relapse prevention strategies. This gives you a network of resources as you reintegrate into your daily life.
Detox Service Setting
-
Inpatient Detox
Inpatient detox occurs in a dedicated treatment facility. You’ll live there around the clock and receive intensive medical support and supervision to help manage your withdrawal symptoms. It is suitable for individuals with moderate to severe addictions as it ensures a stable detox environment.
-
Outpatient Detox
Outpatient detox gives you access to medically supervised withdrawal services while still allowing you to live at home. You’ll attend a clinic for treatment and monitoring. This flexible option is suitable for those with mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms who have strong support systems.
