About Harbor Crest Behavioral Health
Harbor Crest Behavioral Health offers medical detox and stabilization in a pet-friendly residential setting for adults in Aberdeen, Washington. Harbor Crest offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and a specialty program for pregnant women. Once detox is completed and the client is stabilized, Harbor Crest provides referrals to appropriate alcohol and drug rehab programs based on each client’s individual needs.
Medical detox at Harbor Crest includes 24/7 monitoring and medication such as buprenorphine or naltrexone (Vivitrol) to help manage withdrawal symptoms. Clients receive a full assessment and the goal is to keep detox safe and as comfortable as possible. Once detox is complete, Harbor Crest begins the stabilization phase, which includes group therapy, 12-step methods, and other evidence-based care. During this time, clients receive a treatment plan for the next stages of recovery.
After stabilization, clients at Harbor Crest may enter a residential rehab for intensive, focused treatment or an outpatient program for less intensive care. Services may include MAT, which allows clients to use FDA-approved medications to manage cravings for opioids or alcohol and lower the chances of relapse. The rehab programs may be part of the hospital system or provided by other organizations.
Harbor Crest Behavioral Health accepts multiple insurance plans, including Cigna, First Choice, Aetna, Medicare, Medicaid, Premera, Shasta, Lifewise, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and more. Be sure to check with the insurer to verify out of network benefits and other coverage information.

Levels of Care
-
Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.
-
Outpatient
In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.
-
PHP
Partial hospitalization programs provide comprehensive treatment in a structured setting during the day but allow you to return home at night. These programs offer a balance of inpatient and outpatient rehab and provide intensive support without full time residency.
-
Aftercare
Aftercare programs provide ongoing support after you complete a rehab program. They may include several components to help you maintain sobriety including therapy, community support groups and relapse prevention strategies. This gives you a network of resources as you reintegrate into your daily life.
