About Hazelbrook Sober Living

Located in Aurora, Colorado, is the Hazelbrook Community Center. This center has what’s known as a Transitional Safety Zone (TSZ) program. This program offers detox services to men and women who are ready to start their journey to recovery.

The TSZ program works alongside Hazelbrook’s sober living homes, allowing residents in locations like their Aurora sober living home to get access to detox and medical support, among other services.

The Hazelbrook Community Center will support you through a continuum of outpatient services. Through life skills training, intensive care management, and medication assisted treatment (MAT) you’ll begin building healthy habits for a sober future.

Supportive Environments for Addiction Recovery

The aim of the TSZ program is to connect you to one of Hazelbrook’s sober living homes so that you can begin working toward your recovery. To do this, you’ll first need to start detox, and you can do that with round the clock managed care through the residential support offered through the TSZ program.

Once you’re stabilized, you’ll move into one of Hazelbrook’s sober living homes where you’ll find comfortable, home like environments that feature a variety of amenities to make your stay comfortable. Residents can expect to find fully equipped kitchens, comfortably furnished bedrooms and living spaces, outdoor areas where there are grills and patios for you to enjoy, and all utilities provided.

These homes also feature the latest tech amenities including gaming systems, flat screen TVs and high speed internet so that you can keep connected with friends and loved ones. Designed to help you transition into independent living while practicing responsible habits, the TSZ program will connect you to a sober living home in Aurora that will prepare you for success once you complete the program.

Affiliated Care Through Community Partnerships

Another benefit of the Hazelbrook Community Center is its partnership with affiliate organizations. Offered at little to no cost to you, you’ll be supported through relapse prevention, counseling support, access to 12 Step style programs in the community. With the right services and therapies in place, you can begin working toward a life of sobriety with a team that will support you throughout the process.

Levels of Care

  • Inpatient

Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.

  • Outpatient

In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.

Detox Service Setting

  • Inpatient Detox

Inpatient detox occurs in a dedicated treatment facility. You’ll live there around the clock and receive intensive medical support and supervision to help manage your withdrawal symptoms. It is suitable for individuals with moderate to severe addictions as it ensures a stable detox environment.

  • Outpatient Detox

Outpatient detox gives you access to medically supervised withdrawal services while still allowing you to live at home. You’ll attend a clinic for treatment and monitoring. This flexible option is suitable for those with mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms who have strong support systems.

Programs

  • Alcohol Detox

Alcohol detox programs offer medical support to help individuals withdraw safely from alcohol. Your care team may use medications to ease your symptoms and provide medical monitoring to address complications.

  • Drug Detox

Drug detox programs support individuals who are withdrawing from addictive substances like cocaine and heroin. Medical support helps you manage symptoms in a controlled and safe environment so you can achieve initial sobriety.
