About House of Freedom Drug Rehab Center
Located in beautiful Kissimmee, Florida, is the House of Freedom Drug Rehab Center. Going beyond just being a traditional drug rehab facility, this is an establishment where you’ll find a supportive community to navigate recovery while receiving services that will help transform your mind, body, and soul.
The care here includes both residential and outpatient services. Medication assisted treatment (MAT) using buprenorphine and Vivitrol is also available here.
Holistic and Evidence Based Therapies
While you’ll find traditional approaches to care including counseling, group therapy, and MAT, their transformative whole person philosophy to recovery is what allows them to stand out.
Supportive and individualized therapies available include SPECT imaging. This is a process where your brain’s blood flow is examined to get a clearer image of your brain function.
SPECT imaging coupled with neurotransmitter testing, oxygen therapy, and even DNA testing allows you to get a fact based health profile. With this information, individualized treatment plans will be made to target your specific recovery needs.
Recovery from the Inside Out
Physical health and wellness are a big component of recovery here. Your health is monitored through blood tests and sleep quality tests. To help you get onto a track of optimal health and wellness there’s also a comprehensive wellness and fitness program where regular exercise is a core component of recovery.
You’ll be able to work out in their fully equipped gym or their outdoor basketball courts. There’s also an indoor sauna and quiet outdoor community spaces where you can enjoy Florida weather while reflecting on your recovery. The Kissimmee Trail isn’t too far from here, and you can stretch your legs between sessions.
The environment here is one that’s overly supported, focused on your health beyond just addiction recovery, and is a place where you can let your guard down and feel at home.
The facility itself is spacious with a homelike feel and far removed from what you would expect in a clinical, traditional, addiction recovery center.

Levels of Care
-
Outpatient
In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.
-
Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.
Detox Service Setting
-
Outpatient Detox
Outpatient detox gives you access to medically supervised withdrawal services while still allowing you to live at home. You’ll attend a clinic for treatment and monitoring. This flexible option is suitable for those with mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms who have strong support systems.
-
MAT
Medication assisted treatment combines medication and counseling to manage withdrawal and reduce cravings for opioid and alcohol addiction. Medications may include methadone, buprenorphine or naltrexone. MAT is tailored to your needs so you can actively participate in your treatment journey.
Programs
-
Adult (18+)
Adult programs address the substance use and life challenges specific to adults. Therapists can deliver sessions in individual, group and family settings. Services often include job support and life skills training in a structured environment.

Young adult programs are designed for individuals who are transitioning into adulthood. Topics of discussion typically include identity, independence and peer relationships. Providers may also offer life skills training and career support.
