About Huntington Creek Recovery Center
Detox services at Huntington Creek Recovery Center are most appropriate for those who do not require intensive treatment during the process of withdrawal, but who are in need of supportive services as they endure this phase of the recovery process. Our detox services are supervised by our medical director, physician’s assistant, registered nurses, and licensed practical nurses. These staff members are those who tirelessly work to ensure the safety and comfortability of each patient within this level of care. Additionally, each member of the detox staff works closely with each individual to preserve their health and wellness by doing the following for the duration of each person’s time in detox:
Monitor vital signs and the current health status
Facilitate medication management services
Supervise medication regimens
Document and revise (if necessary) medications that are prescribed
Furthermore, patients are regularly assessed to determine if and when they are able to participate in clinical programming while in detox. Unlike other programs, patients at our rehab center are encouraged to partake in therapeutic programming while in the detox phase of rehab. In fact, each patient’s primary counselor begins meeting with those who come to Huntington Creek Recovery Center so that the treatment planning process can begin as quickly as possible.
While patients are in detox, primary counselors collaborate with them to learn about their treatment goals, process through their initial experiences at our rehab center, and establish whether or not an individual is ready to engage in group therapy sessions and/or psychoeducational opportunities within our clinical programming.
If a patient is well enough, he or she can begin working towards achieving his or her treatment goals after resting, building up his or her physical strength, and hydrating him or herself to a satisfactory level. Should a patient not feel well enough, he or she will be encouraged to attend group therapy sessions and meals with other patients as the symptoms of withdrawal become less severe.
If you or someone you care about could benefit from the Northeast’s leading luxury rehab that only Huntington Creek Recovery Center can offer, feel free to give us a call at your earliest convenience. Our team of expertly trained admissions professionals can help you or your loved one determine if our non-hospital detox is an appropriate step to take towards a substance-free, healthy life and can also answer any questions that you may have right over the phone.
