JourneyPure at the River provides substance abuse and mental health treatment for residents of Murfreesboro and surrounding areas in Tennessee. Situated on 127 acres near the West Fork Stones River, this facility has 70 beds and offers clients luxurious amenities in a peaceful natural environment that promotes healing.
JourneyPure at the River provides residential rehab including detox, dual diagnosis for co-occurring mental health disorders and medication assisted treatment (MAT).
Clients can pay for treatment through self-pay or health insurance. Their staff can do a free insurance check so that you know how much you can expect to be covered by your plan.
The first step to addiction recovery is often the scariest. Detoxing at JourneyPure gives you access to around the clock medical supervision for your well-being and comfort. you will be given medications to ease the most uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms and begin to explore recovery through talk therapy. Once you finish this level of care you may step down to residential or outpatient treatment. MAT is available at all levels of care.
MAT combines effective medication with therapy to give clients the best possible chance at making a long-term recovery from addiction. At JourneyPure, you’ll have access to individual and group counseling, behavioral therapy and holistic support such as yoga and mindfulness. You can also partake in outdoor recreation to build up your body and spirit. The Nice Mill Recreation Area is nearby, and the center also has activities.
All the while, your prescription will continue to help minimize cravings and other symptoms like anxiety or depression that can linger after using substances. At the same time, in therapy you’ll be developing the skills you need to live a drug-free life. You’ll also be working to address the underlying causes of your addiction.
MAT is a comprehensive program that treats your mental, physical, spiritual and emotional needs. Your providers will tailor your dosage to your needs as needed and wean you off when you are ready.
Levels of Care

Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.

PHP
Partial hospitalization programs provide comprehensive treatment in a structured setting during the day but allow you to return home at night. These programs offer a balance of inpatient and outpatient rehab and provide intensive support without full time residency.
