NYC Health + Hospitals’ Kings County facility offers drug rehab services for opioid recovery in Brooklyn, New York. The center provides ambulatory medical detox, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), outpatient programs (OP), and aftercare for young adults and adults. Specialized services are available for justice-involved persons. Services are available in English, Arabic, Chinese, French, Korean, Russian, Spanish, and other languages.
At NYC Health + Hospitals, clients receive a structured environment for their individualized treatment plan. Clinicians administer pharmacological and FDA-approved prescriptions, such as methadone, Suboxone, buprenorphine, Narcan, and Vivitrol, to ease withdrawal and reduce cravings. A case management team provides individual and group therapy, arts therapy, career coaching, primary care, and psychotherapy to address co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders.
After detox, the Kings County facility may transition clients to an outpatient program for continued care. Referrals may be made to other NYC Health + Hospitals or outside treatment centers.

Inpatient

This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.

Hospital Detox
Hospital detoxification allows you to withdraw from drugs or alcohol in a hospital setting. It’s ideal for people with severe withdrawal symptoms or complex medical needs. You’ll receive constant monitoring, emergency care if needed and FDA approved prescription medications.

Inpatient Detox
Inpatient detox occurs in a dedicated treatment facility. You’ll live there around the clock and receive intensive medical support and supervision to help manage your withdrawal symptoms. It is suitable for individuals with moderate to severe addictions as it ensures a stable detox environment.
