Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health is an outpatient addiction recovery provider in Colombia, Maryland. Since 1973, they’ve offered assessments, virtual detox and an intensive outpatient program. They’ve been supporting clients through addiction recovery for over 45 years. Services are budget friendly, and they are in network with most insurance carriers.
Their home-based, virtual detox program is unique. They say that this is a convenient and safe alternative to inpatient detox.
You’ll begin with getting a virtual initial assessment. The medical team will get all the information they need to start you off on the right detox plan for your situation. The custom treatment plan will be substance specific whether you’ve used alcohol, opioids, prescription medication or something else. The next day, you’ll start the program.
During your treatment, you’ll have regular virtual check-ins with your provider. They’ll monitor your progress and make tweaks if needed. One of the best benefits of this program is the comfort and privacy you can enjoy from home.
Another perk is the flexibility. With inpatient treatments, you need to put your life on hold. But this method lets you continue to work, go to school or tend to family responsibilities. Some people will also appreciate that you don’t have to leave your support system to go through detox. You can have your family and friends in your daily life which can make the withdrawal process a lot less isolating and lonely.
After detox, you’ll step into Kolmac’s ongoing outpatient program so that you keep getting support and guidance as you continue on your recovery path. Their intensive outpatient track runs in the day and evening and takes about 7-8 weeks.

Outpatient
In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.
Detox Service Setting

Outpatient Detox
Outpatient detox gives you access to medically supervised withdrawal services while still allowing you to live at home. You’ll attend a clinic for treatment and monitoring. This flexible option is suitable for those with mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms who have strong support systems.

MAT
Medication assisted treatment combines medication and counseling to manage withdrawal and reduce cravings for opioid and alcohol addiction. Medications may include methadone, buprenorphine or naltrexone. MAT is tailored to your needs so you can actively participate in your treatment journey.
