About Laureate Psychiatric Clinic and Hospital
Laureate Psychiatric Clinic and Hospital is an inpatient mental health hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They treat a wide variety of behavioral health issues including drug and alcohol addiction.
If you’re struggling with addiction and you’re ready for a new start, they have inpatient detox here. You may or may not know this, but there are different levels of detox care depending on how severe your withdrawal is and what you need for your health and safety. The inpatient detox here is acute detox which is the highest level of care.
That means you’ll have constant medical monitoring and medical supervision. They’ll keep you as comfortable as possible while also looking for any signs of complications and addressing them right away. This might be the right fit for you if you’re at risk for complications or severe withdrawal symptoms based on factors like the substances you use and the severity of your addiction, along with your health.
In this detox program your treatment will be completely individualized to you. You’ll have a chemical dependency specialist who will plan your treatment with you. They’ll also introduce you to some of the treatments and concepts in addiction recovery like group therapy and 12 Step programs. After your detox you can transition to their intensive outpatient program (IOP) and then their long term outpatient recovery support.
Client experiences at this facility are mixed. While some say they are not happy with the doctor turnover, others report having excellent experiences and say this treatment helped them build a more positive future.
Levels of Care
-
Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.
-
Outpatient
In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.
-
Aftercare
Aftercare programs provide ongoing support after you complete a rehab program. They may include several components to help you maintain sobriety including therapy, community support groups and relapse prevention strategies. This gives you a network of resources as you reintegrate into your daily life.
-
Dual Diagnosis
Dual diagnosis programs address substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions simultaneously. This integrated approach to care improves the likelihood of long term recovery and stability by addressing the root causes of addiction.
-
Sober Living
Sober living homes provide a supportive and substance free environment for you to live in as you overcome your addiction. Residents must follow house rules and support each other's recovery journeys. Sober living fosters accountability and stability during this critical phase of recovery.
