About Liberation Programs Bridgeport Outpatient Services
The Bridgeport location of Liberation Programs helps individuals achieve and maintain recovery in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Since 1971, adult men and women with substance use disorders have been able to receive their outpatient services. The organization is CARF-accredited. They are located right next to the Bridgeport Hospital and near the Bellarmine Campus of Fairfield University.

Outpatient and Inpatient Programs for Men and Women

They prescribe FDA approved medications such as Vivitrol, methadone and buprenorphine to help ease your withdrawal symptoms. With your withdrawal symptoms and cravings reduced, you’ll be able to focus on your treatment and your recovery.
You’ll also attend relapse prevention groups. Relapse prevention will help you become aware of your triggers, so that you can best learn how to manage them. You’ll learn how to cope with stressful situations without needing substances.
Their women’s REACH program provides voluntary individualized services that average 1-90 days. This program provides pregnant and parenting women with needed resources and short term case management services.

Outpatient
In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.
Detox Service Setting

Outpatient Detox
Outpatient detox gives you access to medically supervised withdrawal services while still allowing you to live at home. You’ll attend a clinic for treatment and monitoring. This flexible option is suitable for those with mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms who have strong support systems.

MAT
Medication assisted treatment combines medication and counseling to manage withdrawal and reduce cravings for opioid and alcohol addiction. Medications may include methadone, buprenorphine or naltrexone. MAT is tailored to your needs so you can actively participate in your treatment journey.

Adult (18+)
Adult programs address the substance use and life challenges specific to adults. Therapists can deliver sessions in individual, group and family settings. Services often include job support and life skills training in a structured environment.
