About Lower Eastside Service Center
Lower Eastside Service Center, located in New York City, New York, offers a wide range of community services for adults including outpatient detox and medication assisted treatment for opioid addiction. They focus on removing barriers such as language barriers, co-occurring disorders, criminal justice involvement, homelessness, health concerns such as HIV/AIDS and other factors that stop individuals from reaching recovery.
Lower Eastside Service Center wants to make recovery as safe and achievable as possible. Their outpatient detox program allows clients to live at home and attend to their daily responsibilities and still receive treatment. Once a client has successfully detoxed, they can continue their treatment through the MAT program.
As soon as a client is accepted into the MAT program, they will be assigned a counselor who will help them throughout their recovery journey. Clients will meet with a physician or physician’s assistant to begin medication right away. This clinic’s MAT program has an early morning clinic that can accommodate individuals who are employed and need treatment before work.
Lower Eastside Service Center accepts private pay, Medicaid, Medicare, and the following private health insurance among others: Affinity, Amida Care, Fidelis, Health First, Health Plus, HIP, MetroPlus, UHC, VNSNY Choice, and WellCare. Contact the clinic to get help with confirming insurance coverage. Sliding scale payment assistance is available.
