About McPike Addiction Treatment Center
McPike Addiction Treatment Center provides substance abuse services for adults 18 and older. They’re located out in Utica, New York. They offer detox, inpatient, and outpatient (OP) programs. There are crisis care services for those with immediate needs. The center also has telehealth appointments for people needing a more convenient option.
Your recovery starts with an assessment to determine your level of care. A counselor will speak with you and help you choose the program that best fits your needs.
Crisis services include detox to manage withdrawals. They have medication assisted treatment (MAT) available to help lessen withdrawal symptoms and reduce drug cravings so guests can remain comfortable during the program. They use FDA-approved medicines, like methadone, buprenorphine, and suboxone to help guests through the detox phase.
The inpatient program allows residents a safe, secure setting where they work on recovery without everyday distractions. The substance-free environment encourages sobriety. Guests may attend therapy sessions, which can help with uncovering the root causes of addiction and changing thoughts and behavior patterns to those more conducive to a life of sobriety.
You’ll have group support and may attend therapy sessions with others in recovery who can understand the challenges that come with addiction issues. They can support your progress throughout the program and stay in touch when you graduate. That way, you’ll have a network to lean on should temptation strikes.
Counseling sessions help you work through obstacles that may hinder recovery, develop healthy coping methods, recognize substance use triggers, and learn relapse prevention techniques.
Education is provided and may address how the disease of addiction affects overall health and relationships. No one is denied treatment based on the ability to pay.

Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.

Aftercare programs provide ongoing support after you complete a rehab program. This gives you a network of resources as you reintegrate into your daily life.

Inpatient detox occurs in a dedicated treatment facility. You’ll live there around the clock and receive intensive medical support and supervision to help manage your withdrawal symptoms. It is suitable for individuals with moderate to severe addictions as it ensures a stable detox environment.
