About Meridian Outpatient Gainesville Office
In Gainesville, Florida, you’ll find one of Meridian Healthcare’s outpatient offices. They provide mental health and addiction treatment, including medication assisted treatment (MAT). They also have supported employment services and diversion programs for those in the justice system.
They accept multiple insurance plans, including Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance. They can also offer assistance to those who don’t have insurance. During the intake process they will help you understand your financial options.
Medication Assisted Treatment for Opioid Misuse
The MAT program at Meridian includes approved medication as well as individual, group, and family therapy. They use methadone and may also offer suboxone and Vivitrol.
To be eligible for the MAT program you must be 18 or older, have been addicted to opiates for at least a year, or be a pregnant woman currently using opiates. Methadone is particularly helpful for pregnant women because there’s little to no risk to the mother or infant during pregnancy and delivery.
Outpatient Counseling in Gainesville
The counseling program provides outpatient individual and group therapy for mental health and substance use disorder. They also have an intensive outpatient program (IOP) that provides several hours of treatment per week.
One unique thing about outpatient counseling at Meridian is that it can happen in the client’s home environment, not just in the clinic.
Services for Youth in the Clinic and Schools

-
Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility.
